Craig was born and raised in Philadelphia. In 1994 while auditioning for an improv/sketch comedy group, Craig met a strapping,young, comedic talent named Avish Parashar. That group floundered, but their friendship flourished. Two years later, Polywumpus was born and Craig was in on the ground floor..
During the 7 year run of Polywumpus, Craig found time to pursue his acting career, appearing in films like "BELOVED", "UNBREAKABLE", and the CBS TV series "HACK". Craig admits going from stage to screen is challenging, but the transition has been fun.
Immediately after the end of Polywumpus, Avish & Craig were cast in a 48 hour film project movie. The filmmaking experience,coupled with seeing your work on the big screen prompted the members of Polywumpus to unanimously agree "We've got to do one of our own". The seeds for Citizen Wumpus were planted.
For his part in Citizen Wumpus, Craig serves as group's principal actor and has appeared in every Citizen Wumpus project.
In his own words:
Performing 7 years with Polywumpus was my acting school. Improv allowed me to do a variety of characters, so I feel confident I can play any character that's written for me. I don't care what they have me doing- If I have to ride a bike or play a nameless thug, doesn't matter. Whatever is best for the film.
