Synopsis

Rolodex Girl doesn't need fancy mutant powers, or alien ancestry. She has a mystical Rolodex from which she can call any super power she likes. That is, if she can actually remember that a given power is in the Rolodex. The evil M. Drake, Master of Illusion, covets her Rolodex for the power it contains. Rolodex Girl confronts her greatest fear when M. Drake captures her sister, Kim, in a bid for power and the Rolodex...

Rolodex Girl was made as part of the 48 Hour Film Project by Citizen Wumpus Productions. In the contest, teams were given a genre, a prop, a line of dialog, and character that had to be in the movie.

The genre was Superhero.
The prop: a rolodex.
The character: M. Drake, magician.
The line: Get a move on, there's no time to lose?

This information was given on Friday evening at 7:00PM, and the finished short had to be dropped off by 7pm on Sunday night.

Rolodex Girl was selected as one of the 12 best 48 Hour films in Philadelphia, and won an award for best use of prop.
